Tulum, Mexico — a notoriously tough trip vacation spot to journey to — is now getting its second U.S. service.
Becoming a member of Delta Air Traces, Spirit Airways turns into the second U.S. airline to fly to Tulum Worldwide Airport (TQO), with day by day service from Fort Lauderdale and Orlando beginning March 28, 2024.

Orlando Worldwide Airport (MCO) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Worldwide Airport (FLL) are Spirit’s gateways to flights to Latin America and the Caribbean, and with the addition of Tulum, the ultra-low-cost service will now function service to 26 worldwide locations from Fort Lauderdale and 11 from Orlando.
Delta became the first U.S. airline to announce it could fly between Tulum and its hub at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Worldwide Airport (ATL) after Tulum introduced its newly built international airport would open in December 2023. Following the announcement, Viva Aerobus and Aeromexico started promoting flights to Tulum, and extra carriers are anticipated to comply with swimsuit.
